welcome
The internet has played a key role in our
family history search.
From the huge files we gathered and
stored we began to lose space to store them all, papers, birth
and death certificates, what do we do with them all and how can
we display them to our family and to future generations? It was
decided to create a book, a book that we could show our research
and what we had discovered, but as our research is an on going
project and is continuing all the time with new facts and family
lines added almost monthly the book would never be totally
finished, No, we needed a way of showing what we had researched
so far but also a way we could change and update that
information regularly.
The Melton Family Web Pages were
born.
It has taken years of research in getting the
family tree this far, we had to put the very complex
jigsaw of our family tree together and that jigsaw still has
pieces missing. It is our hope that one day those pieces
will turn up and fit into the puzzle of our family history.
The whole basis as to why this web site exists in the first
place is to record what we believe to be the extremely important
knowledge for our children and the children still to come of the
history of their family.
I would like to thank Michelle Melton for her patience and
hard work in researching The Family Tree and also to you all for
looking at our website and showing your interest.
.... as we always say
.......To Be Continued.
